Gaetano Crisci Posted March 13 Posted March 13 I searched on google and on the forums but can't find an answer, but I'm still wondering why this shouldn't be possibile... I need to create a Radial Gradient from White(center) transitioning to transparent (on a transparent background layer), but it doesn't work, I set all, than trace the radius but the gradient didn't appear Than I would change his shape from circular to a custom shape using Mesh Warp, I'm thinking now it's just my fantasy cause I even can't generate the gradient... I'm sorry if I'm not keen to Designer workflow, I normally use raster editing software (I know... probably I should continue to work on them.... anyway) Thank You🙏 Quote
NotMyFault Posted March 13 Posted March 13 A gradient is always depending on a shape, it cannot exists without a shape or pixel layer. create a shape, like ellipse use gradient tool to create gradient within that shape live mesh warp groups only impacts nodes and curves, not fill colors or gradients. you may use a mesh warp live filter instead if you need to impact the fill Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. I didn't understand exactly why a vector software like Designer but also like all the others (Illustr....) have all this limits, but now I know for sure I'm a Raster edit software man, it's a so radical difference between them... Photo2 leave you the possibility to brake boundaries, or I should more correctly say, it doesn't even put any boundaries But the fact that leave me most astonished is that Raster Edit software in many case are also "better" (ok it's very subjective) for graphic EDIT design... I'm 47, I started using the first design software on Commodore64, it was so basic and funny for the era... I have seen all the changes..., and still I love pixels and their fluidity Thank You again, I'm done with vector, Wish you the best! Edited March 13 by Gaetano Crisci NotMyFault 1 Quote

I ran GEOS with it.
