Hi, can someone help or show me how to simply select mulitple objects within a group in Affinity Designer without using the layers panel. I should be able (once inside the group) to be able to drag and select chosen objects using the selection tool or the node selection tool. At the moment, when I drag to select, it takes me out of the group by selecting unwanted exernal objects. Surely there is a way to do this?? as other vector apps allow this to be done quickly and easily.

If i have 15-20 objects in a group, that is not an intuative way of selecting the objects. I should be able to drag select (like in Illustrator).

Does changing from Default not help?

Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thanks, yes i guess that does make it easier if i drag select from outside the group. I would need to lock the layers underneath the group so they dont interfer though.

Holding down Alt on the thumbnail and clicking does isolate the group, but as soon as i click outside of the group boudary it comes out of isolation mode, which kind of defeats the purpose of it for me.
