DelN Posted Wednesday at 07:59 AM Posted Wednesday at 07:59 AM My New FREE 'Textures' Brush Collection for Affinity Photo (link below) There were so many 'Texture' brushes that I wanted to include that had to split them into 8 sections. Please be aware of the high file sizes of some of them. They are mostly hi-res 300dpi brushes. You might like to select the ones you like and create your own unique brush collection, then uninstall the ones you don't think you will use. Del FREE 2025 Textures_01 Gold Spores Del FREE 2025 Textures_02 Atmosphere, Mist & Fog Del FREE 2025 Textures_03 Cobwebs Del FREE 2025 Textures_04 Earth & Fire Del FREE 2025 Textures_05 Mycelium Del FREE 2025 Textures_06 White Del FREE 2025 Textures_07 Orange Gold Del FREE 2025 Textures_08 Lichen NB. One or two of them were included in my first 'Textures' brush collection in the 'Nature' brushes. I included them because, along with my 'Byzantium' Gold collection of brushes, my 'Glitter & Gold Dust' brushes and my 'Gold Circles, Spirals and Annuli' brushes for Affinity Photo, these are the brushes I use in my own work. I hope you like them. I'd love to see some of the work you create using them... I have included a chart image of each brush stroke and an example of some of them applied to a plant pot. I hope this helps you. DelN StuartRc 1 Quote

DelN Posted Thursday at 06:27 AM Author Posted Thursday at 06:27 AM Wow! Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback, legolina. I really appreciate it. It was so heart-warming to read it. So many people have downloaded my free brushes, but so few have commented that I really have no idea what other people think of them. I use them all the time, creating 'scenes' with them that I just wanted to get them uploaded for other Affinity Photo users worldwide to enjoy. I really just mess around with them too, testing them to see if I can create a mountain scene or a woodland using the textures, clouds and trees and shrubs of the 'Nature' brushes or see what I can come up with using the gold brushes. I get a lot of enjoyment out of using them. If you have any questions about them, feel free to post or message me privately. Thank you again... 😃😃😃 i don't know if you've seen some of the stuff I have done with them, but I have included the link below: legolina 1 Quote

DelN Posted Thursday at 07:34 PM Author Posted Thursday at 07:34 PM Ha-ha! That's exactly what I've been doing... I feel like King Midas with all this gold... 😃 It's very addictive. I'm so glad you like them... Most of the images in the brushes are 300dpi, so good to go if you are printing what you create. The more you practice, the better you get. 'Practice, perseverance and patience' is my mantra. Try this. I am obsessed with Symmetry at the moment. You may know of it already, but if you don't... I think you might like it... Create a new layer. Select a gold brush. Turn on Symmetry (see below screengrab) Set it to 16 The Symmetry lines are displayed. Now just dab with the brush. Use [ to make the brush stroke smaller, and ] to make it larger. This is just one dab... This is two dabs... This is several dabs with different brushes. Ensure you create a new layer for each dab... Have fun! Del legolina 1 Quote
