Problem :

I select the pen tool change Fill and Stroke to transparent, when i use the pen tool the stroke setting change automatically to black.

On the screenshot you can see transparent setting but black stroke.

Other problem : With the 2.6, hardware acceleration create pixel bug. WIthout the acceleration it's fine.

Welcome to the forums @lo001

As to the first issue, I tried to replicate what you are doing as much as I can from your description, and I’m seeing the same thing with Photo 2.6.0:

  • With both the Foreground and Background colours set to something other than None;
  • Select the Pen Tool;
  • Change both the Foreground and Background colours to None via the Swatches Panel;
  • Start drawing a curve.

...and the curve is not transparent (same goes for Designer 2.6.0).

I tried the same thing with Photo 1.10.6 (on Windows) and the curve drawn is transparent.

I don’t know which I should be expecting in 2.6.0.

As to the second issue, some graphics cards don’t work well with the software (Serif can’t practically check them all, in all configurations) so if you are having problems with Hardware Acceleration then you can just keep it switched off.

RTX3070 is one of those cards that some people have trouble with (you can search for the forums for rtx3070),so if you can give details about the graphics card settings/set-up then that might help Serif to bolster the compatibility in the future.

You also need to ensure that Use Line Style is not enabled - The second icon from the right in the context toolbar

Which settings are affected?

Thank you very much, you're right, when I deactivate the line style my problem is solved. However, this option is not saved when affinity is restarted. But maybe that's normal.

Finally there are no other settings affected, I was wrong.
