Jimbob777 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 My external hard drive shows up on my desktop but when I search for it in affinity pro2 it's not there. How do I find it or get it to show up? Quote
Staff Lee D Posted February 4 Staff Posted February 4 @Jimbob777 Welcome to the forums. When you use File > Open, the Explorer/Finder window you see is provided by the OS. You should be able to see/browse all of your folders and drives. How are you wanting to access the drive within our apps? Quote

How do I find it or get it to show up? Here on Mac OS I can have the hard drive(s) show up on the desktop, but they are not actually there in the Desktop directory/folder. The Desktop is both a directory and a Graphic User Interface item. You'll need to go up from the Desktop directory to the Root directory to see the Hard Drives. It is four levels up. Here on my Mac I can use the Command + Up Arrow to navigate up a level, so hold the Command key down and hit the Up Arrow key four times to get up to see all the hard drives. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
