Franz Rogar Posted February 3 Posted February 3 ALREADY IMPLEMENTED - IGNORE THREAD WHAT IS REQUESTED The inclusion of "Story" as a limiter to the TOC scope. Currently, only "Document" or "Section" (both based on full pages) are available. WHY IT IS USEFUL Complex designs (like the "Complutensian Polyglot Bible" where multiple languages run parallel requiring separate TOCs for each language, or marginalia annotated editions) require to create different indexes based on the text position. IMPLEMENTATION No idea how hard/complex it'd be. EXAMPLE The attached file (TOC Scope add Story.afpub) is an example of such structure: at the page margins there might be "narrative" and at the center "poetry". As of now, you can't create separate TOCs for each genre, mixing both at the same TOC. That'd be solved with the addition of "Story" to the TOC Scope. Quote
Staff Mark Daniel Posted February 3 Staff Posted February 3 If you set the 'Look in' setting to 'Text Flow' and the Scope to 'Document' it will do what you want. Mark Franz Rogar and Patrick Connor 1 1 Quote

Mark Thank you very much for your reply. I've been hitting a wall with this and it was already implemented. Sorry for any inconveniences and, again, thank you very much for your help. Quote
