MilkManGam Posted January 31 Posted January 31 I have been racking my brain over how to get this vector design I created with an erase effect to export as an SVG without it having a background. It seems like the rasterize nothing in the preview would eliminate the background, however, the erase effect doesn't save and the new SVG files has my two objects on top of each other instead of having the erase effect. Can't get the knife with grunge effect to show, is all I have been trying to achieve. Quote
Komatös Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Hi @MilkManGam and welcome to the forums. Can you provide us with the original file? So we can use it to find a better solution. If not, it would be helpful to have a screenshot of the entire UI of the programme so that we can offer an assessment and possible solution based on the existing layers. Staff DWright Posted January 31 Staff Posted January 31 Hi @MilkManGam, If this image is a standard image file you can open it in Affinity Photo and then use the Erase White Paper tool in the Filters>Colours menu to remove the background and then export it as a SVG file. Quote
