Pennnywise Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Hi Folks, quick question: I am copy pasting my graphs from excel and weirdly affinity squeezes the letters (as u can see in the screenshots). I am not quite sure why and maybe someone here can help me out on how to prevent this? Thanks a lot! Cheers, Sophie Quote
Pšenda Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Do you mean little/no gap between A4? According to the numbers on the Y axis it is clear that the fonts are different - can this not be a problem? Pennnywise Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Does it automatically change the fonts once i paste it in? I am admittely a total beginner in Affinity, how can I avoid that? Do I change the fonts prior, in the excel sheet? Quote
Staff DWright Posted January 31 Staff Posted January 31 Hi @Pennnywise, Can you please confirm if you are using Mac or Windows PC and if it is Windows are you using normal copy and paste or one of the other paste options Quote
Pennnywise Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 I am using windows and do it super basic traditionally: copy plot in excel (ctrl+c) and paste it in affinity (ctrl+v) Quote
Pšenda Posted January 31 Posted January 31 For me Copy/Paste isn't any problem, but font is same: Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.5.7.2948 (Retail) Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2, Build 26100.2605. Pennnywise Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Okay, very sus... I will change the font in the excel spreadsheet itself.. its not ideal for my inner perfectionist if text and plots wont have the same font, but ill find sth that looks very similar. Thanks a lot for your help! Quote
