This regression from 2.5.7 will make it harder to create documents with separate stories flowing on left and right sides. E.g., bilingual documents, religious texts...

AutoFlow master.afpub

  1. Open this doc in 2.5.7 and AutoFlow from the left side of spread 2-3. AutoFlow will create two more spreads and the left frames are linked together.
  2. AutoFlow from the right side of spread 2-3. The right frames will now be linked together. This works great.
  3. Open AutoFlow Master in 2.6.0 3078 and AutoFlow from the left side of spread 2-3. AutoFlow will create spread 4-5 but only page 6 of the last spread. I believe this was a deliberate improvement but it's irrelevant to the issue, it will happen even if there was a right side in that spread.
  4. AutoFlow from the right side of spread 2-3. It creates a new spread 4-5 with a blank left side. The left frames are now linked from page 2 to 6, skipping page 4. The user would have to manually fix this.
