Danitom13 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Hello, I just make this topic because im planning to buy Affinity photo 2, but I have a question, I was trying to find the answers reading in the forum but I couldn't find any, so here it's: -When you are working in a file .raw, this one is modefied in total? This is beacuse I like to have the original file. Right now I'm working in Lightroom and this one make one document apart with all the comands of the modifications, and dont changes the original .raw. I wanna know if with Affinity photo 2 I going to lost the original in the process of edition. Btw, sorry for my bad english, is hard to write in this language. I don't know if I explain myselft well if you don`t understand, please tell me. Quote

Your raw file will never be changed by Photo. We can set Photo to remember what "changes" we made to the raw file if we set the Develop output to be Linked or Embedded instead of making a Pixel layer. Oh, I forgot to say: Welcome to the forums @Danitom13 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
