Kacha Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Hi, I'm currently in need only of only Affinity Designer as long as I do my type of work now. Although, maybe in the future, I may find a need to use other 2 apps as well. How would the purchase then work? I don't want to buy whole pack at the moment since I'd be using just one of them in foreseeable future. Would I need to buy both of them separately then? (just trying to see how this works or whether there's some sale price again if I want to have all 3 of them later) Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Your only two choices today are: Buy each application that you want individually, for a single OS. This lets you use the application on that single OS (Windows or macOS), but on as many computers as you own or control that use that OS. or Buy the Universal license, which gives you all three applications on all three OSes (Windows, macOS, iPadOS), on as many computers as you own or control. If you might need to change OSes, or use the other applications, then approach 2 is probably better. Note, too, that having Publisher gives you additional text-related tools (Find and Replace, automatic hyphenation, and some others) that you won't have if you only have Designer. It's not clear if you're doing any work with text that would require those, but it's another consideration in how to purchase the applications. nehakakar Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Hi Kacha, your approach to buying only Affinity Designer for now makes sense if it fits your current needs. Later, if you want the other apps, you can buy them separately or check if there’s a discount or bundle offer available. Affinity often runs promotions, so keep an eye on those. Quote
