RoopeB Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I'm trying to create a macro in Affinity Photo to automate some basic edits I apply to nearly all my images, but I’ve hit a snag where certain steps can’t be added to the macro chain. Specifically: I want to duplicate the opened image to a new layer. After that, I’d like to apply a premade Tone Mapping Persona preset (one I’ve already created) to the duplicated layer. Is there a workaround to include these steps in a macro? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Quote

This isn't something we have a workaround for, as we can't record a Macro in the Tone Mapping persona Quote

You may be able to create a LUT from your tone mapping persona preset when applied to an image. Create a LUT preset then apply that preset as a LUT Adjustment layer using a macro Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Just make sure you have the layer selected in the layers panel stokerg 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Tried the same directly from the layers panel (right click on the selected layer --> duplicate) did not work. Quote
