Brush preview shows when disabled

Hello,

I use photo and designer pixel persona (2.5.7).

1- Start with settings/user interface/show brush previews disabled

2- The brush preview still shows

3- Enable/disable 1) and the brush preview is gone (as expected)

Hi @philippe martin,

This isn't an issue I can replicate using the Magic Keyboard Trackpad or Apple Pencil with 'Pencil Hover' enabled in System settings. With the setting disabled, the preview is not visible when hovering over the pencil or trackpad, when enabled the preview is visible, as expected.

Could you confirm the following:

• iOS version
• iPad model
• Input device for brush preview (Trackpad, Bluetooth Mouse, Pencil etc.)

Could you also provide a screen recording?

iOS version: 18.2.1

Model: iPad-Pro 13-inch (M4)

Input Device: Pencil Pro

I have the Stage Manager enabled.

Recoding enclosed.

Perfect, many thanks can confirm I've replicated and now logged this with the developers, looks like the setting is getting ignored on app startup.
