Designer0512 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hi folks, I've been trying to print an A3 sized booklet I've created in landscape orientation using Publisher 2.5.7. Somehow, it comes out the printer with the first and final page correctly oriented, but with the pages in between ending up only being printed partly and in portrait orientation. The PDF is oriented correctly, the file is the right orientation in Publisher, yet it goes wrong exactly the same way on every printer I try. It doesn't matter whether I add or remove pages, the first and last ones are always the only ones printed right. Can anyone help me out? I'm still quite new to using Affinity software, but I've never had this issue with any other publishing app so far. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted January 23 Staff Posted January 23 @Designer0512 Welcome to the forums. Are you exporting to PDF and then printing from another app or printing directly from Publisher? If direct from Publisher, can you provide screenshots of the Print window settings? Quote

I am exporting to PDF and printing through my uni's printing portal. So far though, no matter what printer I tried I got the same issue. They're all Xerox printers if that helps. Quote

As I previously said, I'm using Affinity Publisher to make the document, then export it to PDF, after which I upload it to the printing portal. I am not using any offline application, but if we're talking webapps, the print portal is a version of YSoft SafeQ 6. It's just a generic network print spooler program, with only settings for printing in duplex and black-and-white. I access it using Mozilla Firefox if that's any help. As for screenshots, I can share some of my Publisher export settings if that helps. Quote

Then that is the application you are using to access the printing portal. I do not know anything about YSoft SafeQ 6 or how it interacts with Firefox but it sounds like the problem might somehow be related to your printing problems. This might be something your uni's IT department could help you with. Have you contacted them about it? I've never had any similar issues while using Firefox or the printing portal, only when I've used Publisher, with this specific file. That's why I figured I'd post on this forum, because to me it seemed like I was doing something wrong with Publisher. I have yet to contact the IT department, but I see if they might be able to help.
