I am reaching out regarding an issue I’ve encountered while creating a planner in Affinity. The planner includes tabs for individual months, and for each section, the respective month’s tab is highlighted to indicate the current section. For example, in the June section, the June tab is a different color than the rest.

While everything appears correct within Affinity—each month’s tab highlights appropriately—this changes upon export. All other months appear correctly, but during the June section, the March tab is highlighted instead of June on the calendar page. However, the following June pages (such as the month and daily pages) all have the correct highlight. I’ve ensured there is nothing else on the calendar page that could potentially cause this issue.

I’ve already tried deleting and recreating the tabs, ensuring that all elements on the master page are consistent across the months. Despite this, the issue persists, with March being highlighted during the June calendar page upon export.

This issue is quite frustrating as I’ve invested significant time into this planner and intend to distribute it. Unfortunately, in its current format, I cannot proceed.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting steps to resolve this problem.

Welcome to the forums @Forwardrolling

Are you sure that you are comparing the correct exported file for the correct Affinity document?

I only ask as the day-of-month numbers are shown in your exported version but they don’t seem to be visible in the in-application version, so they look like different things to me.

If that’s not the case, if you can share the Affinity document then we can look at it to see what’s going on.

I'm not clear what file type is being exported from APub, nor how the functionality of clicking on tabs is enabled. Is this something only available in APub on iPad, or is there another app being used?
