Affinity Photo v1 Ipad - Color An Object With Exact Color

I follow the steps on this video;

She will applies an exact color of a RGB Hex Color onto the sweater.

 

Step 1) She created a rectangle.

 

Step 2) On Brandcolors.net she clicked on a color. RGB Hex Code is copied to the clipboard.

 

Step 3) She filled the rectangle with the color in the exact RGB Hex Code of the clipboard. (At 2:23 on the video)

 

She did It with a keyboard shortcut.

 

I hold click the canvas and paste.

 

It created a layer in the layer panel.

 

However How can I fill the rectangle with this color?

If you set the Color panel to RGB Hex Sliders, you can type the hex value you want. You can't paste it, though.

Set it to RGB Hex Sliders, then tap the hex field, and use the popup box to type the value you want.
