Affinity Photo deleted after Update Mac pro -

I hope you can help

Every time my Mac Pro has a update, Affinity is deleted from my device/Mac Pro.

I have to install it again

Has anyone got a solution,

Are you sure that you have installed the Photo application properly, as per the normal installation instructions for MacOS?

After doing that, is it shown in the Applications folder, & if so, what is the complete file name including the extension? If installed correctly it should be named Affinity Photo 2.app.

You are probably running Photo from inside of the DMG file rather than installing it into Applications. The DMG (disk image) is "mounted" (a drive is mounted when it's connected) when you double-click it but instead of dragging the file to Applications, you just ran it from there. When you restart macOS, the DMG is automatically unmounted so you "lose" the application.

That's what I think is most likely & why I asked if the app shows up in the Applications folder with an "app" extension.
