GarryP Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Welcome to the forums @xoxs Are you sure that you have installed the Photo application properly, as per the normal installation instructions for MacOS? Quote

If installed correctly it should be named Affinity Photo 2.app. Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
MikeTO Posted January 2 Posted January 2 You are probably running Photo from inside of the DMG file rather than installing it into Applications. The DMG (disk image) is "mounted" (a drive is mounted when it's connected) when you double-click it but instead of dragging the file to Applications, you just ran it from there. When you restart macOS, the DMG is automatically unmounted so you "lose" the application. That's what I think is most likely & why I asked if the app shows up in the Applications folder with an "app" extension.
