She brushes the hair to change the hair color.

But at 3:57 she says “gradually apply the saturation” on the merge of the skin and the hair at the forehead area.

 

How does she does this?

As If color gets darker while she hold the click longer. (That kind of effect)

How can I do this?

I can‘t observe any darkening effect in the video.

It might be an optical illusion of the desaturation.
