Publisher 2.5.7

 

When I export text in Publisher, some letters are removed and the text is changed to foreign alphabetic letters. See the text and attached export.

Original text ....

Is there a setting that is wrong or id this a bug?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @XYZ3D. :)

You’re getting that result because the original text includes ‘ti’ ligatures but the PDF version does not. Either turn off standard ligatures in the document settings so that ‘t’ and ‘i’ are exported as separate characters, or turn off subsetting in the PDF export options so that ligatures are included in the PDF document.

Thanks for the help.

I found where to turn off the subsetting in the PDF export section but cannot find any reference in the Affinity/settings/section. Can you be more specific as to where it is in Affinity settings, as I cannot see it?

It's in the typography panel (menu Window > Text if it's not shown presently).
