How do you add A2, A1, A0 Paper sizes presets

I was a long time user of Seriif Page Plus and have now upgraded to Affinity Publisher V2.

I use in the main UK page sizes A2, A1, & A0.

How do I add these to Affinity Publisher V2.

I don't understand why they are not available as a default for UK users especially as the software is developed in the UK.

Be glad of some advice please how to add these in my default Paper Sizes?

Welcome to the forums @Gary Blandford-Hull

You can save new Presets in the New Document dialog.

Change the settings for an existing Preset and then press the “Save preset as…” button – see attached image for a clue.

The larger document sizes were apparently removed when V2 was released to ‘save screen space’ but not everyone is convinced by that reasoning.

These presets were present in version 1 but removed from version 2 because the preset list was becoming too long. However, they're simple to add to the current list of presets either as part of existing preset categories, e.g., if you want to include them under both the Print and Press Ready categories or under their own Custom category.

1. Create a New Document
2. Enter the respective page size in the layout tab and set any other values, colour space, profile, margins and bleed
3. Click the Add New Preset icon at the bottom left of the preset list (indicated by the yellow arrow)
4. Enter a name for the preset
5. Select a preset location from the Category dropdown
6. Click OK

Note: The preset will be added to the bottom of the category list but can be dragged up to position wherever you prefer, e.g., above A3.
