Affinity Photo and Designer weirdly working textframe

earlier text frame cutted text lines what not have room selected text frame. then i can adjust text size way files text frame. when area where text go is thing what i cannot change for speffic design reasons. today looked this.(not care text is only text test but i seen problem when do one my projects). and text not cut of side of frame.

Seems be now possible with i click this eye but i bet is earlier not this way. becouse i newer clicked this eye before. then now only comments if worked always this way?

Unless I have misunderstood what you are saying, this is not a bug.

Photo and Designer show the overflow text by default while Publisher does not.

This is because Designer and Photo don’t have the Text Flow or Preflight functionalities of Publisher, so it’s better to see the overflow text in Designer and Photo early than it going unnoticed.
