KrisMarie Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 hi there, so im very used to photoshop and making my own styles and using other styles in the graphic community.. but what ive never known it to do is when hitting the style i want..it changes my font and size as well, im sure its an easy fix..but its not something i like or want it to do...i only want the effect of the style i created..and not saving it WITH the font and size i used.. because when i go to place the style on a design, it changes the font .. how do I have it not do that? example: before the style: and then this happens when i choose one of the styles i made: i want it to keep the size and font from the first image, and only have the effects/colour from the second image. help me gurus? Brian_J Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Styles created from text seem to include font information — I’m not sure if there’s any way around that (maybe someone else can speak to that). However, Styles created from non-text objects, like shapes or curves, do not include font information. To remove the font info from your existing Style: Create a shape, e.g., a rectangle using the Rectangle Tool. Apply the existing Style to the rectangle. With the rectangle selected, in the Styles panel, Add Style from Selection. The new styles can be applied to text without effecting font attributes. carl123 Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 You also have the Style Picker Tool which you can use to capture all the styles applied to an object and then selectively apply them to another object and then create a new tailored style from that Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
