Clear undo history

I'd like a command added to the History panel options menu to clear the undo history. This would allow me to save the document, clear the history, experiment, and never undo beyond the point I last saved at.

I find myself instead having to save the document, close it, and re-open it to protect myself against undoing past the desired point.
