Hi Affinity Team,

I have a problem exporting to PDF in affinity designer is very slow, the estimated file size has shown 100% loading
but it is still stuck and does not show a preview or status ready to be exported, this is very annoying.
I have a deadline in 2 days, what should I do?

Best regards,

Hi @Zackariasa,

Try adding a tick in the Embed Profiles checkbox under the Advanced section of the PDF Export window and see if your file exports... There is a known regression in the 2.5.6 release logged under AF-5175 preventing files from exporting when using PDF (digital - high quality) without Embed Profiles checked.

thank you very much, This helps a bit, although it still feels like a long time.

As @GarryP mentioned above, you don't need to wait for the file to Preview before exporting. Is it a large or complex file, how long is the export taking?
