I'm new to this. I am making a coffeetable book. I used full size pages created in PSElements to create the Gallery section of the book. The images run to the bleed. I didn't create master pages ahead of time. I am trying to create master pages with page numbering. Affinity is putting the numbers UNDER the images- or, at least I am assume it is. I can see numbers on blank pages. I can see the text frame for numbers, but not the numbers on the image pages.

Is there a way to have the numbers on top of the images?

Master page layers are always at the bottom of the layer stack and there isn't an option to put them on top.

However, using the Layers panel, you can drag the master page layer (named Master A by default) above the image for each page and then your page numbers will on top. You'll need to do this for each page though.
