Hello, sorry if this has been addressed but I'm not sure the correct terms for what I am trying to accomplish outside of "transform"/"scale".

In the previous Affinity Photo I could select 2+ layers, make a marquee selection, and then scale that selection bigger. Now in V2, if I try do the same thing it insists on scaling the entire pixel layer. For example, I am currently trying to make the head of a figure smaller, with additional lineart and hair layers on top, but it keeps trying to scale the entire body and lineart layers instead of what I've selected >:(

Just guessing but is the layer really a pixel layer or an Image layer

Hi @florak,

This is a actually a bug in V2.  We do have this logged with the Developers.

I've left a link on the report back to this thread so the Affinity Info Bot can update here when this has been resolved :)

The issue "Moving a Pixel Selection with multiple layers selected moves the entire layers and not the selection area" (REF: AF-501) has been fixed by the developers in the latest beta build (2.6.0.3058). The fix is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Affinity Info Bot to notify us.
