Barney Stratford Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 I'm running Designer 2.5.6 on macOS 15.1.1 with Metal turned on. I have prepared a small document (attached) in which the ends of strokes are being mysteriously misrendered. The document contains the original curve, a rasterisation of the curve (so you can see what I'm seeing) and the curve's expanded stroke. I've also put circles at the ends of the strokes so you can see more clearly where it's misshapen. Rendering errors.afdesign Quote
GarryP Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 I’m seeing the same problem with the lower node (end node) of the curve in Designer 2.5.6 on Windows. Reversing the curve, so the start node is at the top, shows the same problem but ‘reversed’. Adding a new point on the Pressure Curve, a tiny bit to the left of the existing top-right end point works, up-to-a-point (pun not deliberate). Quote
Staff NathanC Posted December 17, 2024 Staff Posted December 17, 2024 Hi @Barney Stratford, This is a known issue with the expand stroke function on rounded strokes with pressure applied, I've bumped the issue with your report. Quote
