Sharp Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 File changes when opened. The images says it all. It happened in the text layer. Closed a file like IMG_7277 and opened it again and it shows a shift, see IMG_7276. 1) Affinity Photo 2 2) latest version 3) Can’t reproduce it. It happens sometimes but is very annoying. 4) It happens for an existing document. 5) iPadOS 18.1 Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 Welcome to the Affinity forums, @Sharp. Are you referring to the position of the image on the page? Or is there some actual change to the image that I'm not seeing in your screenshot? Can you share the file? Sharp Posted December 10, 2024 Author Posted December 10, 2024 Share the file? It’s very big (60MB) with lots of layers. Therefore I did attach the images. It’s about the text. I can show it in this text: Scherp stellen Een scherpe lens vergt een scherpe lens én geest: ook voor interactie and then after closing and opening, the first two lines move to the left: Scherp stellen Een scherpe lens vergt een scherpe lens én geest: ook voor interactie I assume that others recognise the phenomenon. Otherwise it seems difficult to solve. I can add some extra information: the file is saying fonts are missing but that is certainly not about a font in the layer that changes. Quote
GarryP Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Without being able to see more of the document, and how it’s organised, it might be difficult for us to figure out what’s going on from two partial screen-grabs. How about sharing a version of the document which only contains the layers which can be seen in your screen-grabs? That might be a reasonable starting point. Some weird things can happen with fonts – multiple installed versions interfering with each other, strange interactions with some functionalities, etc. Sharp 1 Quote
Sharp Posted December 12, 2024 Author Posted December 12, 2024 I will come back later for a version which only contains the layer with the affected area. (Very busy right now) But I cannot guarantee that the problem appears in that file 😎 Quote
