MikeTO Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 I don't think this footnote fitting issue has been previously reported but I've encountered it several times. It was reported again today in the question thread below and I've created a test document along with a screen recording that shows that the fourth footnote fits when there is one fewer line of text in the right column, but it should obviously fit even with that line of text. fitting.afpub Screen Recording 2024-12-02 at 4.36.42 PM.mov Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.3, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)

Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted January 10 Staff Posted January 10 The issue "Bottom of Frame Footnote isn't fitting even though room at end of second column" (REF: AF-5346) has been fixed by the developers in the latest beta build (2.6.0.3027). The fix is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Affinity Info Bot to notify us. MikeTO 1 Quote
