I have been experimenting with the Pattern layers in Affinity Photo using brush strokes & dabs with my free 'Byzantium' Gold brushes for Affinity Photo.

It's interesting how you can add to the Pattern layer by adding a dab or brush stroke and the Pattern layer updates, but if you try to delete something from the pattern, the results are quite unexpected, which I like when I am experimenting... I've found that if you want to remove something from the pattern, just use the Erase brush. The pattern then updates.

Nice work. Very seasonal too. I love to see what you create with the 'Nature' and 'Gold' brushes...
