Can't import PSD with editable text?

Hello,

I need to open and edit PSD files including text layers. I do not need to send them back to PSD. The PSD text layers are getting converted to pixel layer. I am in sooo much trouble if I can't edit the text layers. Please help.

The default is to rasterize, you can change this in the Preferences. Please note that we cannot keep the text editable when exporting to PSD format.

Yes. I did this.

Those warning messages are probably the cause of your problem. That PSD uses newer functions not supported by the Affinity applications.

But that means I have to keep a copy of PS around to open my old documents - which kind of defeats the purpose of moving over to Affinity. I am not using anything crazy in my PS files.
