Koenenhe Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 I have a document for a magazine with 2 columns on each page. I use 2 or 3 asters on each page. WHen I clear master on apage, the text on that page is moved to the next page, pictures on the page are not moved. Masters are indeed cleared, leaving all text shifted olne page.which was not the intention. What did I do wrong? Quote
walt.farrell Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Answering that will (I think) require knowing the details of all the Master Pages you had applied, including their layer structures and layer names. And knowing how your Text Frames are linked from one to the next. But my guess would be that a Master that you cleared provided the only Text Frame for that page, and the text had no place to go pnce its Frame disappeared but into a linked Text Frame on the next page. Screenshots before doing the operation might help. Actually having the .afpub document to play with would be even better, if it's shareable publicly here.
