walt.farrell Posted September 6 Share Posted September 6 Welcome to the Affinity forums. The obvious answer is to make sure that Allow Split Notes is turned off in the Notes panel. But even that isn't guaranteed, I think. As the Help for the Notes panel says: Quote Allow split notes—when selected, footnote/sidenote bodies can begin in one text frame and continue in another. When unselected, Affinity attempts to keep each body's lines together on the same page; story text may reflow, but unwanted whitespace may occur in some text frames. That implies there are cases where it won't be able to, which may relate to the Flow Options (Paragraph panel) you have set for the body text.
