affinityhelppls
Hello, I've done a search and could not find a thread that matched my specific question. I would like to use Publisher v2 with a dual monitor setup and cannot figure it out. I tried Window > Remove Window from Set but read this only works for macOS Sonoma and above? I am currently running Ventura. What I would like to do is have one monitor running my document in "Preview Mode" while using the other to edit and work on the document with preview mode off. Is this possible? Thanks!

Drag the New view tab into the view area of the second monitor. As I have never set up a multi-monitor setup, I cannot guarantee success. affinityhelppls 1 Quote MAC mini M4 | MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1 | 16 GB RAM | 256 GB SSD AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | INTEL Arc A770 LE 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.2161) Affinity Suite V 2.5.6 & Beta 2.6 (latest) Interested in a free (selfhosted) PDF Solution? DuncanL
As @Komatös says, you can have multiple views on a single document in different modes - this is on a dual screen setup: (However I have just noticed a bug - if you minimize and then restore Publisher; the second view restores as just an empty window; and you need to move it to force a redraw.) affinityhelppls and Komatös
affinityhelppls
@Komatös @DuncanL This is almost exactly what I was trying to do. I wish it would link so that I could scroll in one document to a page and have it scroll on the other view at the same time. But just having more than one view is very helpful so I will take it. Also, working on Mac I realized that when I maximize the window it does not fully maximize to create a new desktop, which is a feature I use often swiping back and forth in between various desktops during my workflow. Perhaps, the Affinity team can get this feature working in future versions. Thank you both for taking the time to reply. EDIT: Just realized all I need to do is create a new desktop and place the Publisher view on that desktop as a work around. The view seems to disappear when swiping back and forth between desktops but as long as I am back in the app the other view will reappear. Strange behavior, but it still works. Hopes this helps other Mac users. Edited August 23 by affinityhelppls Komatös
