Insert cross reference window does not keep dimensions after resizing

Recommended Posts

The list of names / pages only shows 3 rows per default (see attached image). A bit too small for my taste. Imagine a long document with loads of anchors, so you have to scroll a lot.

Issue 1: Yes, you can resize this window, but once closed and the opened again it reverts back to its original small size. I would like to see, that the size is kept.

Issue 2: There is something with the ordering. When it is ordered by name and the name start with numbers, 1.x is followed by 10.x, not 2.x what I would expect!

Not sure if both issues are bugs.

We can see 7 rows on macOS so the Windows version could use some attention.

I think 7 rows is also too few - I'd prefer that the dialog be laid out differently with a taller list on the left and the controls from preset down on the right. It would be great to see a dozen rows.

The sort order is an issue but it's because it's sorting alphabetically rather than numerically. It takes extra code to sort numbers properly. I recommend typing something into the filter text box and ignoring those numbers. I can usually type a single word and reduce it down to 1-5 rows in just a couple of seconds.
