Hi I am considering using Affinity Studio once my current Adobe subscription is finished. I want to have a go first but when I download the free trial to Mac OS using Safari the process is freezing. I have allowed IP address tracking, pop-up windows, etc but its still freezing.

Any suggestions?

Maybe something blocks your access to te internet. Can be a setting in the firewall, or you provider is blocking the download.

Try another browser.

What country are you located in, @drawntoasia?

Edit: Also, you could try downloading from the Microsoft Store or the Mac App Store. The applications from there should start in trial mode.

I agree that the Apple or Microsoft App Stores are a good option if you can't download from the Affinity store.

If you experience trouble downloading large files from any website, you should install a download manager. These utilities do a better job of downloading large files than a general web browser.

While I don't have any problems downloading from the Affinity store, I often have 1GB+ downloads from archive.org fail with Safari. I use the free version of Ninja Download Manager which is available for Mac and Windows. (Download buttons at the bottom of this page: https://ninjadownloadmanager.com)

Good luck
