markbowen Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Hiya, I may be going mad here so apologies if I am but I swear that I used to be able to select a text layer and then (if on the text tool) go up to the menubar and using my Apple Magic Mouse (2) scroll up or down on the font size to increase and decrease the size. Doing that now doesn't do anything. Did it used to do this or am I going crazy? If it did used to do it then is there some setting I may have inadvertently changed maybe? Thanks, Mark Thompson 1 Quote https://www.instagram.com/mbphotomanipulationshttps://www.behance.net/mbphotomanipulations Affinity Photo 1.7.2 Mac OSX 10.12.5 Mac Pro (Mid 2010)
Staff NathanC Posted June 9, 2024 Staff Posted June 9, 2024 Hi @markbowen, This is a known issue with the magic mouse currently logged with the developers, I've bumped the issue with your report. Thompson 1 Quote

Thompson Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 It’s upsetting how Affinity crashes established functions with an update and is not able to fix those problems within a reasonable time. The font size and leading changes using the Magic Mouse are things that differentiate it from its competitor, and yet they manage to spoil it. Astonishing, really. Meanwhile, there has been another update and the thing still doesn’t work. Sad. It would really be good to put some pressure behind that, as this is probably a function used and enjoyed by many users. maxweldouglas 1 Quote
