How to make a JPG in sRGB color profile in Affinity Photo 2 (that is currently in CMYK)?

Hi there:

I opened up a JPG in Affinity Photo 2 and it is in CMYK. I want to export it in sRGB format. How do I go about doing that?

Chose menu:

[Document]->[Convert Format / ICC Profile]

Select the desired color model in the Format drowdown (in your case RGB/8)

and the desired ICC profile (in your case sRGB IEC6... might be the right one).

You could open the file and then use 'File > Export'  as shown below. Also, the Quality control trades image fidelity for a reduction in file size of the export.

Yes, first answer was to change the jpg to RGB in general; second answer was to change it only for export (which better matches your initial question).
