colddusk Posted June 1, 2024 Posted June 1, 2024 Hi, I have a fujifilm x-t5 and thinking in getting affinity photo 2 to edit raw files. I was wondering if affinity photo 2 is able to give me the profiles from the raw file to change colors like lightroom? Quote
Komatös Posted June 1, 2024 Posted June 1, 2024 Hi @colddusk and welcome to the forums. I don't know how Lightroom handles RAW files. Your camera model is supported by Affinity Photo's RAW engine, so you will be able to adjust the colors with Affinity Photo. I recommend that you download the 7-day trial version. Also take the opportunity to try out the other two Affinity programs. The universal license may seem high at first, but in the long run it is cheaper than Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator as a subscription. The trial version is available here: https://store.serif.com/get/universal-licence-2/trial/ Quote MAC mini M4 | MacOS Sequoia 15.5 | 16 GB RAM | 256 GB SSD AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9060 XT 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.4351) Windows 11 Pro on VMWare Virtual Machine (on Mac) Affinity Suite V 2.6.3 & Beta 2.6 (latest) Interested in a free (selfhosted) PDF Solution? Affinity does not support the original picture picture profiles from camera vendors like Fujifilm or Canon. Some users derived LUTs based on pictures out of these cameras, which mimic the look of those profiles, but are not 100% identical. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&q=Fujifilm lut&quick=1 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps.
