Delay in changing indent to Rules in Footnotes

This is a minor annoyance, but there seems to be a delay when changing the indent of Rules above footnotes. Maybe this has something to do with my document having over 1200 footnotes, and it is actually changing the whole document every time I change the number in the indent, but it's still annoying.

You're changing the Document Wide > Rules > Left Indent setting frequently? Yes, changing that will change the entire document. If you want to change it for a specific footnote, switch to Custom and then the Left Indent field will affect just that footnote.

No, not often. I just decided that I wanted the Rule to line up with the text, and not the numbers, but it wasn't updating for a while, and then it would jump and change the number by a few at a time. Just annoying. Maybe just show progress somewhere so the user knows it's making a change, instead of just being stuck.

Of course, now I realize that wherever I had a custom footnote, these changes won't make a difference. Custom should really inherit from the Default, and then allow changes.
