In the Character Studio, Typography section, the tooltip for the “Show Typography Panel” button (last button in that section, the one with an ellipsis) should probably now be worded “Show Typography Studio,” or perhaps simply “Typography.” The latter option is consistent with the Character and Paragraph buttons that show up in the contextual toolbar and open their respective studios.

"Studio" refers to the Right studio panel stack or the Left studio panel stack. Typography "Panel" is correct for the collection of Typography settings which comprises one panel in the Studio (or can be undocked from the Studio completely).

Walt, you just blew my mind. I have been using Publisher since its first public beta in June 2019, and 1.6k posts later, I find out I have been using the wrong terminology all this time. A quick search reveals you are correct.

It may not help, but they referred to the panels as "studios" in the iPad applications in V1. I think that's fixed in V2 (but I haven't done much checking).

That does help make me feel a little better. I have Publisher 1.10 for an unrelated reason, and I notice that there all of the panels are in the “Studio” submenu, and selecting one pops up the panel outside of what I now know to be the proper studio, so that perhaps led me to believe that the Studio submenu was a list of studios.
