Rogermcarey
We switched from digital printing to wet litho about a year ago. Since then, black text is printing out of the CMYK set, rather than 100% black. It looks awful. We've tried various kinds of test files with our printers, using different PDF settings, and none make any difference. Affinity Help says printing text as black is the default setting, but that clearly isn't the case. Has anyone else encountered this problem recently (I see the issues lurks in the forums as far back as 2018)? If so, is there a known fix? Are you using a 0,0,0,100 CMYK black for the text or a Rich Black which is a mixture of all four inks and is suitable for illustrations but not text. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
