pjglad
Please consider adding a Masking Brush similar to the ON1 Perfect Masking Brush or the Capture One 9 Auto Masking Brush. These masking Brushes are far superior to the masking tools in AP. Thanks for listening.
Peregrin
Could you elaborate on what makes their masking tools superior in your opinion? That would make it so the Affinity staff actually know what type of feature you want them to add.

paolo.limoncelli
Mmm... Did you try the mask refinement tools? It is only a matter of presentation/workflow of those commands imho. CaptureOne and ON1 masking brushes offer the same features, what is different is the way you can apply those. pjglad
Try replacing this sky in Affinity Photo - https://www.dropbox.com/s/5jzu0me2m3isjjg/screenshot-1.jpg?dl=0 It's pretty simple with ON1 Photo 10.
paolo.limoncelli
Cool! Can you show me how you do it in ON1? Quote The white dog, making tools for artists, illustrators and doodlers

paolo.limoncelli
EDIT: Found with inspector. Well... A good tool for sure. Anyway I'd rather see what you can do with the picture you linked (so a grayscale picture with a messy background), not a generic tutorial taken from youtube... ;) In any case these are other techniques you can use in AP And last but not least Blend Ranges Quote The white dog, making tools for artists, illustrators and doodlers
