Brunoscph
Hi. I am not an editorial designer, so this might be a super fundamental question when it comes to a text box doubt: What parameter should I tune to align "Motion Graphics" with "3D Vis...."? Using the spacebar doesn't solve this. Thank you
walt.farrell
That's a form of hanging indent, and you can arrange it using the First Line Indent and Left Indent settings in the Paragraph panel. walt.farrell
You're welcome. I find it becomes easier with practice, but you might consider creating a Text Style for it if you need it often. If I try various indents I always have to adjust the first line indent again and again. I wonder if it would help/ make more sense first to set the first line indent and have it in the interface on top and set the indent below and as second value. Or have a way to lock one or the other. To me, it's the concept of hanging indents and how to set them that is difficult. The more you need them, the easier it is to remember what needs to be done, and to figure out how much indent is needed. But my brain forgets that the graphical interface via text ruler appears easier than via panel because of its direct visual feedback + dashed indicators: For panel usage a third option my help: Indent for 2nd to last line but first line excluded. walt.farrell 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
