TaurusGirl
Dear All, I was working on a Vector Graphic in Designer. Suddenly the program stopped working and said "the file appears to be corrupted". I'm working on Windows. The file is not on my laptop, but saved on our private Synology Drive. I have been working on that file for a while. There have been Affinity updates since I began working on it. The last backup is 1 week old. I tried opening the file in publisher, still corrupted. Is there any way to restore my file? Thanks in advance, Judith Biodiversity.afdesign
Staff Lee D Posted April 18 Staff Share Posted April 18 @TaurusGirl Welcome to the forums. Your file is giving the same message when I try opening it on my system. I've logged it with our developers for them to investigate further. However I can't give you an eta on when this may be and if the file can be recovered. If you can it's best to save/load files locally as using networked or cloud based storage can potentially cause issues as the connection to the file can be lost/dropped. walt.farrell
It is also best to periodically save backup copies, under different names, in case something goes wrong with the primary copy.
