unable to log in

hi, i just made an account with affinity and downloaded affinity photo 2 on my mac and ipad. i am currently signed in on my online account, so i know it works, and i have verified my email. i am trying to sign into affinity photo 2 and it isnt working on the either of the apps (mac and ipad). i tried changing the password and that didnt help either. i'd very much appreciate any help

That should mean you didn't enter your proper Affinity Store login credentials (email, password). But if you're sure you used the same info you used to login at https://affinity.store/account that shouldn't be the problem.

Are you working with a purchased copy of the applications, or did you sign up for the Trial version?

That’s where I’m confused, because I’m sure that I’m using the correct details.

I’m not sure which version I am using, I am a student at university and they have given us access to the apps, so I’m assuming it’s the paid version? I’m not entirely sure but the other applications they have given us access to were paid versions (others unrelated to affinity)

That sounds like you might be using an educational version, which would have a special Affinity ID and authentication info, that the school would have provided to you. 

I suggest confirming with your instructor how you're supposed to be signing in.

I double checked the email and found the details I was meant to sign in with, it's working for me now.
