Antje Müller Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 Hi, I urgently need support because of a wrong pdf-Export of the edges of curves. Please look at the design everythings OK but the pdf-result shows strange edges. Export as png is fine. I appreciate your help! Thanks! The document beckground is transparent. I export only the selection, but it's always creating a white background. How can I get rid of it? Thanks Antje xx6.pdf Quote
Quote

Also woher kommt dann der Hintergrund "Papier-weiss"??? Danke! Das PDF zeigt als Hintergrund «Papier-weiss» an. OpaErnst Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 Hi Antje, i can not reproduce a white background when exporting a selection to PDF (e.g. X4) from your document. When i get to a color Separation in AcrobatPro i just see the process colors CMYK, no additional spotcolor. Importing to other Applications also does not generate a white background (Illustrator, Photoshop, Designer …) Where exactly do you get the "Papier-Weiss" color? Antje Müller 1 Quote
Antje Müller Posted March 27, 2024 Author Posted March 27, 2024 @OpaErnst thats good news, thanks! The Mac-Preview and also Acrobat display a white Background. The preview of pngs don't do so, this is why I worried. The "paper-white" mentioned above was recognised by AndreasCH. However if the pdfs are fine ,I'm fine 🙂 OpaErnst 1 Quote
OpaErnst Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 Thanks for your feedback Antje, I suspect that Apple Preview and Acrobat display a white background for PDFs by default. You can change this in Acrobat under Settings > Page display, if you wish, and a corresponding transparency grid will be displayed. I have tested this again with your file > everything is fine. Quote
Antje Müller Posted March 27, 2024 Author Posted March 27, 2024 @OpaErnst Great! The transparency grid is perfect. All the best! Antje OpaErnst 1 Quote
