Joe S.
My work is split between iPad & desktop and I’m running into issues like having a custom palette saved on desktop but not iPad, or having symbols on iPad but not desktop. (I assume this is what Adobe Cloud does but if I wanted to make them rich I wouldn’t be here.) I haven’t found a solution within the apps yet so I’m guessing the best thing I could do is keep a synced Dropbox/iCloud folder with exported items? walt.farrell
Symbols are specific to a single document, so if you transport the document from one system to another you would still have access to its symbols. Palettes can be specific to an application, to a system (iPad, macOS), or to a document. Again, if you have a palette in a document, it will travel with that document as the document moves from system to system. For application or system palettes, you would need to export the palette from your application as a .afpalette file, and then import it on the other system.
