Sue Michelmore
Hi I have an iMac desktop. I have just bought and upgraded to Affinity Photo 2.4.0 and also bought Topaz photo AI 2.4.0. I want to use Topaz as a plug in to Affinity. Topaz has simple instructions on how to do this (edit-preferences-photoshop plugins- allow unknown plugins…..) Unfortunately this doesn’t work on the Mac with the most recent Affinity version. I have found Affinity2- settings-photoshop plugins - but then I get this (see picture) what do I do next?? I should say I describe myself as a computer user. I am not terribly proficient so need clear instructions. Thanks Sue

Staff MEB Posted March 6 Staff Share Posted March 6 Hi @Sue Michelmore, Welcome to Affinity Forums The above screenshot shows the plugin wasn't detected. Were you able to get it working or Is it still giving you trouble? Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Sue Michelmore
Much to my delight I did it and it's working! Thank You. MEB
nickbatz
Does anyone have the Gigapixel AI plug-in working?
Staff MEB Posted March 6 Staff Share Posted March 6 No, it's incompatible with Affinity Photo since it requires changing the document size. We only support basic image filters, using a pixel layer as input. Any other types of filters (file export, import, requiring UI's, automation etc) are not supported. nickbatz
Just now, MEB said: No, it's incompatible with Affinity Photo since it requires changing the document size. Ah, got it. Not a great loss anyway, to be honest, especially for my applications. If I were taking pictures of the family holidays or birds, maybe.
