3d illusions Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 I need to change the tracking of all text that uses a specific font. Is that possible? V1 publisher. Quote
Old Bruce Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 If you are wanting to find a particular font (Arial, regular, 12 points etc) then you could use the find and replace to first find the instances of the Arial and then apply your home-made Character Style which you have named Arial Tracking On . If you are wanting the font (again Arial) to have the tracking automatically applied as soon as you start using it some where in the document, regardless of what ever Paragraph style is in use, I don't think so. walt.farrell Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 If you're using Text Styles for everything (or at least all that text), you should be able to just update the Text Style and all the text that uses it will change. If you didn't use Text Styles, then you could try doing it with Find and Replace. You can use the cog icon to the right of the Find field to locate text that has the font you specify: then And then you can use the cog icon to the right of the Replace field to specify Format, then Tracking: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
